Making Random Fractals

Fractal Architect has 2 very powerful ways to create Random Fractals:

• Configured
• Scripted

Configured

You set up the variation types for Pre/Normal/Post and Final transforms.

Scripted

Luas scripts create the fractals.

Configured

You select the variation types and their parameter value ranges for:

• Pre Group
• Normal Group
• Post Group
• Linked Transforms
• Final Transform

Configurator View

This is the iPhone's Configurator view.

iPad Split View

iPads can show both the Configurator and the generated fractals at the same time.

You can hide the configurator pane.

Scripted

The app supports Random Generation scripts written in Lua.

The app has built in over 45 separate scripts that you can try.

This is the iPhone's Selector view.

Lua Tweak Scripts

You can attach one or more Tweak scripts to modify the random fractals. Tweak scripts can be used with either the Configured or Scripted fractal generators.

The app comes with over 100 different Lua tweak scripts.
