Fractal Variants Creator
The Variants Creator creates a random set of fractals that are variants of the original fractal.
It allows you to set the weights for the randomization process, so you can control how much change is introduced in the variants.
Multiple Selection Choices for Variant Types
You can select whether to randomize Colors, Transforms, Pre and/or Post Matrix, and/or Mix-in other Variation types. Click on the Variant types in the button bar on the upper left corner of the Variant Creator, to select them. Hit the Roll Dice button to create a new batch of variants.
Color Variants
Select the range for the number of color stops in the randomly created color gradients.
Transform Variants
Select the strength of adjustment for Transform weight, Transform symmetry, Transform color index, and variation weights.
Matrix Variants
Select the strength of adjustment for Pre and/or Post matrix coefficients.
Mix-in Variants
Select the variation types and their weight maximums to mix into each of the fractal's transforms.
This is an easy way to see if a fractal can be improved, by adding other types of Variations to each transform.
Final Transform Variants
Select the variation types and their weight maximums for the final transform.
This is an easy way to see if a fractal can be improved, by adding a final tranformation.
Symmetry Variants
Select a range of symmetry values that are applied to the fractal.
Some fractals are improved with symmetry.
